How long will my appointment be?

Each appointment is one hour long. Vestibular initial evaluation appointments occasionally run a little longer, depending on the extent of the issues being evaluated.

Should I take medication for dizziness/vertigo symptoms prior to my vestibular initial evaluation?

Unless it is absolutely necessary, please avoid taking these medications prior to your vestibular initial evaluation, as it does effect the accuracy of the test results.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear something comfortable in which you are able to move freely. Tennis shoes are also recommended.

What is your cancellation policy?

As stated on our Consent to Treat form, any cancellations made less than one 24-hour business day's notice will incur a $40 cancellation fee.

Will I have to pay at the time of the appointment?

All co-pays and deductibles are due at the time of the visit. If you have not met your yearly deductible, ask us about estimated costs. We are happy to help!

Can I reschedule an initial evaluation appointment?

Yes, you may reschedule your appointment if necessary. We do provide a unique one-hour, one-on-one therapy service at Core Balance. We do not use aides or assistants to ensure we provide excellent care and the ability to truly develop a relationship with our patients. With that in mind, the second time you attempt to reschedule, we will ask for a deposit of $40.00. This deposit can be applied to any co-pays due or refunded at the first visit. The deposit is forfeited if you do not show up for the initial evaluation.
